So far Lukaku has missed from a few yards out and had a goal disallowed… couldn’t happen to a nice chap.

Is it worth me tuning in?

If you want to watch a sweaty Lukaku throwing his arms around and pointing, then yes!

Just turned on, Golden generation?

They have the Midas touch in reverse.

Over 4 hours without a goal at an international tournament apparently… it’s the kind of gold that turns your skin green after about an hour.

Just seen Lukaku miss out on a pass that was an inch away because the lard arse wouldn't move he's an absolute disgrace.

He’s useless and just incredibly frustrating to watch. He’s the exact type of player I’d hate to play with.

Please god we sell him.

Sell Lukaku then World peace in that order.

If you knew anything about Greek mythology you'd understand that "the Midas touch" was intended as a curse 😉

Yet another example - like King Cnut turning back the tide -  of a mythical story whose true meaning has been misinterpreted.

Yeah I know traditionally it was a curse I remember it from my youth, I was really insinuating that everything they touch turns to shit not gold.

And when I say youth I don't mean I was around in those days either!

Did anyone just see that England puff piece on ITV?

"This side are different, they're made of sterner stuff"

I absolutely hate the football media in this country.

No I didn't see it but they never learn.

They do it every tournament and it ends the same way.  They slaughter them after we are knocked out and go back to hero worship at the start of the next tournament.

5 or 6 major sycophantic journos each time.
