My Blood Is Blue
First proper test, although still pre-season, it will be interesting to see how we get on against a ‘proper’ team.
Sciatika
Do we know how much time they have had in pre-season? If they are up to speed, it will be a tough game.

Popular Post My Blood Is Blue
I arrived in Orlando for our family holiday yesterday and due to a bit of jet lag I’m up early and flicking through the TV channels in our villa and I’ve noticed that ESPN 2 will be showing this match tonight at 7pm my time… I’m still not watching though, but nice to know the options there if I need a bit of me time!

Put the cover over the pool, disconnect the gas from the barbecue, hide all the sharp or bladed objects - The game might get a bit messy, and you're on holiday - no need to have temptation in your way 😉. You've left the country at the right time, wet and miserable here today. Have a good one.
chara
@My Blood Is Blue,,,Sam...I should have told you about the game being on ESPN2,,at least give you a choice ! 5pm my time,,,,, just hoping it will a game without the ludicrous defensive performances or "F'up moments" to be more precise ... and win or lose we can see if any progress is being made in set up and individual player fitness/form,..Too much to ask? Without the F factor we could have watched previous tour games not thinking so much in terms of results..being down by two goals feels embarrassing and we are all Chelsea people so in such circumstances look for a leveling of the game rather than assessing the overall big picture. PS,,I bet you do watch it Sam😁..

But, generally it’s like that for an hour or two and then the sun comes out again. Thankfully it looks as though @My Blood Is Blue has just missed the tropical storm 🤞 And heat is wonderful, as long as you don’t have to work in it.

Spent 6 weeks in Ft Lauderdale some years back..some may recall my very biased claim that Ft Laudedale and Dartford are the two armpits of the World!,,,just my opinion! Orlando is on the "other" coast and the closest I got to there was driving across to Tampa to deliver a vehicle."interesting" trip but Florida comes way down in my list of places to return to...just above Liverpool!

chara
Some idle prematch thoughts....if this were at SB I would expect a crowd reaction to the Conor saga....as it is I doubt there will be much,if any, backlash,,could be wrong, Thoughts? Secondly Tom Paxton (I know, OG stuff) has done over the years what he titled "Short Shelf Life" songs,,basically humorous reflections on a current event,,The Bobbit horror first cut etc ,,Jimmy Carter and the swimming rabbit for example...all amusing at the time but mere vague memory events for the slightly older crowd,,,such a preamble just to introduce my Short Shelf Life initials ,,"FFMF",,,,The "First Five Minute F'up" Please please beg the Football Gods to make "FFMF" a soon forgotten sequence of events as from this afternoon and on through the season. Surely they have gotten the best they can from the games so far having refined the earlier over the match foolishness to confine it to only early in the game and using later "errors" as a nudge nudge giggle, ⛰️⛈️🌩️☄️

Agnew was Nixon’s VP, and Paxton sang this shortly before he was done for taking bribes.

Absolutely, which is even more infuriating because we've looked quite good going forward. It's constant individual errors. Ridiculous.
