boratsbrother Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Now that decision against Nkunku was a joke!
boratsbrother Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 (edited) Another, nice, relaxing day watching our boys. Edited October 27, 2024 by boratsbrother 1
My Blood Is Blue Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Get in! Hate the refs in this country. Feels like another massive win for this young team. 1
Chelsea_Matt Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Superb result but my goodness do we need to sort that defence and goalie sitch out, and fast. 😬🙈💯 2
NoblyBobly Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Thank god. Ref did his best but not quite good enough. spurs lost , United lost 1
Popular Post chrisb Posted October 27, 2024 Popular Post Posted October 27, 2024 Thank f**k I’m on blood pressure tablets! 1 3 2
Floyd25 Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Credit to the defenders for the last ten minutes, James fantastic for me in the second half. Game could’ve been a lot more comfortable, referee was a disgrace, might be wearing a tin foil hat, but definitely feels like they have an issue with us. 2
SideshowLuiz Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 James was so solid in defence today, I thought. Hard fought win, good start to our run of tough fixtures. 1 1

My Blood Is Blue Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Played well, deserved to win by more. We could do with bringing in Newcastle’s dark arts coach, because he’s so good the refs don’t notice a thing. James completed 90 minutes and looked good. Neto’s best match for us by far. Palmer. No words. Only negatives today were Madueke, who looked well off it and our defence and goalkeeper putting us under so much unnecessary pressure. 1
CarefreeMuratcan Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 We make things harder for ourselves than it needs to be. Should have been well out of sight bu the time of that nervy finale. 1
tunaboss Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 (edited) Great win! This felt big. We deserved to win that match but it could easily have not happened. Frustrating VAR calls and some maddening refereeing. Neto was excellent. Jackson continues to look like a proper striker. Palmer did what Palmer does. Very pleased to see Fofana come back after the injury and seemingly look okay. But the biggest miracle is Reece James making it through 90 minutes! Some of the defending is less than ideal but I really don't think it's as bad as some are making out, especially at this point. I've seen much worse from Chelsea in the last 5-10 years. Spurs and United losing really puts the cherry on top. Edited October 27, 2024 by tunaboss 1 1
boratsbrother Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Very good win that! Being able to hang on under pressure is another small step forward. Team giving their all and fighting hard is all I ever ask for and that's what we got. Palmer superb. Yet another goal for Jackson. Neto very good first half. Lavia continues to impress. Only real negative was Madueke, who again put in another half arsed performance. I'd like us to start with Neto and Mudryk midweek. 2 1

Madueke really did have a poor game today. He hasn’t been amazing all season, but today really was poor and he looked like he didn’t want to be there. I wouldn’t be surprised if we find out he’s unwell, but I may be giving him too much credit. The good thing is, we have plenty of other options to come in for him, so it’s not a massive concern. Neto showed today what he can bring to this side, he was brilliant today and has to keep his place after that and over to Sancho to try and earn the position back. Lovely problems to have. 1

I did warn you what they were like and they did everything I said and more and once again their referee was compliant. Eddie Howe is a rotten coach. 1

BUT,,don't get complacent,,TOP new coach and watch out, Just need Arsenal and Liverpool to lose and my weekend will be nicely completed!,,,Oh wait.... Edited October 27, 2024 by chara 1 1
Popular Post Ham Posted October 27, 2024 Popular Post Posted October 27, 2024 A win is a win. Nobody is looking particularly good in the top 6 even whilst winning. City, Liverpool and arsenal have scraped some wins. We're too hard on ourselves. A very good weekend. 1 6
johnnybozo Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Good result against a Toon team with some quality players. Deserved more. And don't think the ref calls were too bad. That was never a penalty and while I'm at the pub with my Scouse mate for the Arse game now I couldn't even argue that Nkunku went down like a sack of lead from a fingernail touch :'D
