Bringing Palmer on is about our only hope here, this is grim, I hope we don’t pick this side for the FA Cup games, it’s night and day between this and our strongest eleven.

I feared the result would go this way tonight, especially when I saw the teams, but the defending on both goals and the 5 mins before and after them was just awful, you cannot get away with that at this level.

I think Maresca will be realising just how much of a drop down in quality the Conference League is, as you can get away with 11 changes in those matches, but this is a different level entirely. I expect to see at least a couple of subs at half time.

Weirdly, I do feel like if we get the next goal, we could still get a result and Felix looks the most likely at the moment.

Be interesting to see what Maresca does now. He’s surely got to change the defence.

Disasi off for Chilwell and move Cucurella to the right.

Palmer on for Enzo and drop KDH deeper.

You forgot Colwill for Badiashile.

+ 1 solid RB and 1 solid CB

True, I’d love to know what our scouts saw in Disasi and Badiashile, must of been on drugs. You can’t play them against sides like this, maybe against Noah.

He has to change at half time. After 60 mins is pointless.
we get an early goal then it’s game on.

Yeo, completely agree. Unless he really doesn’t care about this tournament, in which case he’ll keep the players rested for the weekend.

Man United 4-1 up by the way, that new manager bounce is looking pretty bouncy!

Do we really want to risk Palmer in a game like this?

This is where we’ll see how much Maresca wants to win this trophy. Maybe you throw on Madueke instead.

I definitely wouldn’t take off Mudryk, Felix or Nkunku as they’re head and shoulders above the rest at the moment.

Enzo is a massive downgrade on Lavia.

Maybe the directors just got the transfer fees for the two of them the wrong way round?

It's just the Johnstone's Paint Cup. Loss is good and it gives the proper players a rest for the Prem.

Don’t agree, I used to enjoy us winning things, this second string are nowhere near.

Not sure it’s worth the risk of getting Palmer injured to rescue a Carabao cup game. The thing is not to have fielded a dodgy second string in the first place.

Everyone has been bad.

Everyone.

I'm really sick of coming to this ground and seeing our team fall to pieces. Seriously.

I think the team has got as much of an uphill battle as you hardy lot up there tonight had getting up those 26 odd flights of stairs.

Hats off to you all.
