  • JaneB changed the title to Chelsea vs FC Noah

I seem to have an amazing talent of making long term appointments to coincide with Chelsea games.

This game is no exception, Annual Check up arranged before fixture dates so will have to watch a goal gorged, for Chelsea, recording.

10-45 appt other side of Denver 100 mile round trip no big deal usually but through busy inner clty traffic...sigh.

Balanced by the cancellation of Mrs C's appt on the day of the Arsenal as she is in UK.

I think it might be time to mix things up a little over the next few games in regards to the 1st XI / 2nd XI thing.  I think Nkunku probably warrants a a couple of Prem starts given Madueke's form and similarly a start or two in this comp might help Madueke.

With that in mind, i'd quite like to see something like this:

Jorgensen

Gusto Tosin Disasi Veiga

Enzo KDH

Madueke Felix Mudryk

Nkunku

We're going to see a raft of changes again, which is fine, but I do agree with @Bert19 that we need to start limiting the amount of changes/mixing the teams up a bit. The 'League 11' looked stale against Man United and to me, we were crying out for Nkunku and Felix, who are both far too good for the Conference League. I would start Madueke and Gusto in this one, with a view to them both moving to the bench at the weekend and bringing Nkunku and Cucurella into the 11 vs Arsenal.

Give Nkunku 45 mins, then get him off and keep him fresh for Arsenal. He's just too good not to be playing for us in the league and if it carries on for much longer, I wouldn't blame him to try and find a way out in January.

The form we are in I can absolutely see us dropping points, and there's people wondering how many goals we will win by.

Nothing's a foregone conclusion with Badiashile, Felix, Disasi, Jorgensen, Mudryk and KDH in the side.

What has Felix done to show he's too good for the Conference League? Just flashy runs and shots over the bar.
