Cole Palmer is out injured so I guess Felix starts?

So the "reckless challenge" only seems to have taken Cole out of this big game..well done manure.

Maximum damage minimum punishment.

Was fated to miss this game...having made a long distance time wise appt I will miss the reserve game Thursday and originally an appt made for Mrs C on Sunday..scan type non emergency but tight to get appt so took the Sunday one...an unfortunate need for Mrs C to visit UK has me back in the Stone Age and the Arse game back on the table,,BUT,,the fates say NO...just accepted a Sunday lunch kind invitation at a good restaurant from a couple I like a lot ..the lady being a good friend to Mrs C,,,,difficult to refuse and date restricted so I know when to listen to the messages in the wind!

What does this mean?...being spared a humilition?..being denied a joyful victory ?

I await Sunday afternoon (in Cold Colorado.._15C last night)..🤠🦕🦖

I think we have enough depth in forward players to challenge Arsenal whether it be Nkunku behind Jackson or Felix,

Would certainly prefer Palmer to be fit though.

I think he's a good player - but not world class. Bet he scores now....

I think he's a fabulous player.  Super-creative.

If we really are going to get back to where we want and need to be, we need to stop relying so much on Palmer to produce his magic to win us games. This is a great chance for some other players  to step up and  the lads as a whole to show they are not almost a one man team.

There's no official confirmation that Palmer is injured or out of the Arsenal game.

Just a precautionary scan by all accounts.  Looked like an impact only.

Had that been one of ours there would be 24/7 Sky Sports frothing "analysis" demanding a ten game ban and a public flogging.

We owe them. And I want that snide **** Havertz to pay for what he said - that winning the CL would be much better with Arsenal. He’ll never know. 👀💯🖕🏻

After he celebrated against us, that was it for me.

That’s weird. I read a report yesterday from Matt Law saying Palmer was out for three weeks. Today, Maresca said he didn’t train today and they are assessing him. Could be mind games to keep Arsenal guessing, but who knows?

Agreed BUT we must learn not to rely on him all the time.

Ok honestly it is going to be very disappointing if we don't get 3 points. Arsenal look completely out of sorts at the moment.

Stop Saka and you stop Arsenal.  Nervous about Odegaard though.

Yes, those two are their most important attacking players, no question. Arsenal have really struggled since Odegard got injured. They have noone in their squad to cover for him.

I just secured myself front row West Stand for this. Absolutely pumped.

I'll wave from Shed Lower 6 when we sing "West Stand Give Us a Song".  Enjoy the match.

I am right next to the Shed in WL1 (I'm front row right next to the first set of stairs of the West Stand) so definitely.

You'll notice me because I'll be the crazy one jumping up from my seat to the bit at the front when exciting things happen and when the ref upsets me.  MHL/Shed in spirit stuck in the West Stand. Thankfully I'm close enough to Shed that the atmosphere will spill over (and I'll make sure it does, sorry prawn sandwich brigade and tourists, you're going to get an ear ache).

Palmer didn't train yesterday, so he is still a doubt, however, Maresca has said he 'hopes he can play'. Fingers crossed he can play, but if not who will come in? I would go Nkunku, but Maresca seems to see him as a 9, in which case maybe it'll be Felix?

I expect Cucurella back in at left back and I hope Madueke stays on the bench, he's out of form and so I would give Sancho a game on the right and Neto on the left, with both capable of swapping throughout. Mudryk could be another option to come in on the left and Neto on the right.

We have had several games recently where we were the better side but did not secure the win. Our focus should be on ensuring our defence and converting our chances. Easy to say, though.

Never used to be the case but this was the first fixture I looked for when they were announced.

Hope we bury them. I want to see that fickle fanbase demoralised and turning on themselves, Havertz and Arteta.
