It feels like if a team/manager needs a result and they're playing us, we turn in to Charity FC and give them the win they need to bounce back or turn around their form, I really hope we don't do that on Sunday... let's be the side that puts another nail in the coffin for the title hopes!

Crowd has a big part to play. Winter night under the lights, Stamford Bridge, it's got all the ingredients to favour us, like a European night but a league game.

Never used to be the case but this was the first fixture I looked for when they were announced.

Hope we bury them. I want to see that fickle fanbase demoralised and turning on themselves, Havertz and Arteta.

Exactly the same here, even before the fixtures were announced, as soon as they won that 5-0 game and made a big deal of it, Havertz celebrating, despite the fact they have won fuck all, I knew this was the fixture on my hit list. That's why I have been desperately trying for a ticket since the initial sales period last month and am pumped to be going. Because this is the one. This is where the tide turns, the watershed moment.

They are 3 games on the bounce with 0 goals (discounting the Preston game) and we have been scoring for fun this season, especially at the Bridge.

Get ready for "CHELSEA ARE BACK!"

The last time we played Arsenal we had no Cole Palmer and it might be the same again. Pretty fcking annoying.

And they get their key player fit just in time.

I've been hoping all week it's subterfuge.

It might be. If I had an important player on the cusp of return I certainly wouldn't tell the oppo via the press. I have no idea why they ever do it.

If our players could just tighten their focus a bit we could easily get ourselves into a title race here with City faltering.

Won’t happen with Sanchez in goal, unfortunately. When it gets tight, you need a keeper to save/win you points and Sanchez too often does his best to do the opposite.

After he celebrated against us, that was it for me.

Personally he lost me way before that. Such a limited player. To think he was even called a generational talent…. Laughable.

He’s an average attacking player  in my book.

This game is all of a sudden very important. A win here and we have hang on top three. Lose and the leading pack will break away.

It’s a joke Liverpool is running away with it. They don’t do it by scintillating attacking football. They do it with consistency and a solid defense. The Mourinho-way if you like 😂

Arsenal have the most arrogant fans. Liverpool’s are more entitled than arrogant, but Arsenal’s are as bad generally. I hope we stick it to them and Havertz but I can’t see it. As long as we fight hard and don’t surrender I’ll be happy. Next season we’ll smash them. 💯🧨🫶🏻

On the train down for this game now. I would LOVE a win here and we really are due one over them aren't we?

I can't pretend I'm overly confident that will happen. But they have been rubbish recently and have some serious vulnerabilities. They also seem to struggle to get back into games if they go concede first, so I think an early goal from us would be huge.

Weirdly they're playing like a sub par Mourinho team right now. They're going to want a physical battle. Palmer is obviously important, but the man we really need to play well today is Caicedo. If we can win that midfield battle and keep putting them under pressure, we have a chance.

If Palmer is injured and assuming he won't start Nkunku, then I'd rather Felix played at 10 than Enzo.

My hunch is a draw, but who knows. A win would be massive for this team.

Dreading today. Just read we have not beaten City, Goons and scousers for 25 matches.

It certainly feels that way. Praying it changes but just feel our young team might stutter today and they turn their form around with Odeggard back who clearly makes them tick.

Coverage doesn't begin here until 3:20am so won't be watching it live, and probably won't actually get a chance to watch until the evening - providing I can avoid the result for the entire day.

Hopefully we get the win but would also be content with a point if that's what it came down to. As long as we don't lose it'll be job done for me.

That is a horrible stat. Ouch.

I admire you optimism, but I honestly don't think we're anywhere near being a title challenging team. I'll be surprised if we finish within 20 points of the winners.

For a long time  now, we've barely been able to lay a glove on the big teams in the big games, and until that changes we are not challenging for title any time soon. This season has been no different so far. 2 losses to the top two and couldn't even beat an awful Utd team.

If we are waiting for Sanchez to become the great keeper they say he will turn into, can we please send him out in loan until he becomes that. In the meantime, can we get someone decent in.

Bloody Sanchez AGAIN!

Sorry, just practicing for later.

Also

How did we miss that from two yards?

Colwill is so overrated

James limps off. Again.

Oh well. That’s that.

🤣🤣😬
