Darts (Is it a sport?) Well Done Luke Littler

Just a note to congratulate Luke Littler on his success last night, The appreciation comes due to his age and the amount for pressure laid on his shoulders by the media "especially Sky".

One suspects had he not won the Sky would be falling in this morning.

Technically I'd call darts a game, but there's "sports" in the Olympics which I wouldn't personally class as a sport, so we might as well class darts as a sport too.

Either way, it's an incredible achievement for any person to reach the top of any profession at his age. The sheer mind-numbing  tedium of practicing darts hours a day,  day after day,  week after week.  (Second only in tedium to working  on a drilling machine in a factory for 8 very, very long hours a day. which I unfortunately was doing many moons ago.😟😁)

That alone takes a special kind of mentality to maintain for years on end. Well done and good luck to the lad!
