  1. I have seen the Sky coverage now. Their commentator mentioned it was a borderline offside but their pictures didn't show it at all. It could only have been called against Leah Galton. When she received the ball she was clearly onside, but she wasn't in shot when the ball was passed to her so there's no way to tell if she might have been off when it was played. The post game pundits said nothing about it whatsoever. Poor coverage of this incident by Sky. Anyway, it doesn't matter anymore. 🙂
  2. Anyone at the Select Car Leasing later? Looks set to be more Blues than Royals in the stadium. Surely this will go right today. If we win, we're champions. If we draw, we will probably be champions. If we loose we could still be champions. Looking forward to one more big day with the girls, and one more big result from them too.
  3. I only saw highlights which featured the last pass, the cross, the knock back and the strike. I didn't see an offside there. Was it in an earlier situation?
  4. Worst kept secret. Fans have been chanting 'we want you to stay' for months, but it was never going to change anything. It's been their plan pretty much since Pernille arrived. The original feeling was that they would head to Barca next but that doesn't seem to have materialised. I worry about Mags at Bayern. As a big name arrival she will start the season, but I can't see her retaining her place in the starting XI. Although she has been a regular for us recently, that's really because of defensive injuries. Prior to that she had lost her place in the team and mainly played as a fill in LB, or when another player was out. I can't see that being different in Munich. Kiera Walsh and Lucy Bronze for a further example.
  5. This is why it was so disappointing that City lost at Liverpool. Had they won there, as expected, they'd be heading into the game on the 21st fully motivated, and with everything still to play for. As it is they will go to Leigh with nothing but a faint mathematical chance of Champions League qualification. Let's hope they find whatever is required to nab points off United. They are certainly capable of it.
  6. For me Jessie's biggest strength is her pressing so maybe this says something about Emma's tactics. We'll so see. 🙂
  7. Well you're off to a good start. Probably won't be hit by test call ups too. Vince? Dawson?
  8. I did see a little one being carried in its dad's arms from Fulham Broadway towards the ground as I arrived yesterday. Wonder if that was your youngster.
  9. I'm in Shed Upper today. Hope to hear you loud and clear from the west.
  10. The whole of the Westview had gone on sale, one or two blocks at a time, and then off sale again as each block sold out. As that happened the next block was made available. When Westview had sold out, or seemed to, the first block of the Matthew Harding Upper (block 8 ) was put on sale, just as the club had said would happen. Then yesterday afternoon MHU8 was taken off sale, with few seats seeming to have been sold. The whole of the Westview was then put back on sale and there seems to be many seats available there.
  11. Something strange seems to have happened with tickets for this game. Having seemed to have been sold out for a day or two, all of a sudden yesterday there were plenty of tickets available in Westview (West Stand Upper) . We could speculate about what might have happened there but, based on how slowly tickets having been going in the last two days, I don't think many of those will be taken up.
  12. Women's FA Cup Final hospitality tickets available here: https://www.clubwembley.com/events/2023/Womens_fa_cup_final_23
  13. Wow, I didn't know any of that. All power to you.
  14. The club has now sold out it's allocation of Women's FA Cup Final tickets. That said... Something in the arithmetic isn't adding up. Wembley say that they are hoping for a 'sell out', and that they have sold 65,000 seats themselves. The 16,000 tickets they allocated to Chelsea and Man Utd have also sold out. This makes a total of 81,000 tickets sold, which is about 9,000 fewer than Wembley's capacity, so what's the story? Have Wembley put an 81,000 cap on the crowd size? Do they have a different plan for the remaining tickets?
