  1. I really hope that him taking this job is like finishing up your playing career at your boyhood club. He's given it a good go, tried his best but it's not working for him and I don't see him wanting to stick at a Championship level for the rest of his time. Looking forward to Micah giving him a warm embrace as he comes to his true calling.
  2. With you here Jane, I can't stand the idea of Jose and a CB joining forces... we'd be the first team in the league to try a 6321 formation!
  3. Maybe I'm a dreamer, maybe Emery or another elite candidate isn't an option but I just can't settle that these are the only two. Keep the faith Max, I implore you, don't let the sorry excuse of a leadership team wear you down like that.
  4. No, I agree with your earlier points on him - yes, he might be great but not the time for Vince, something also tells me he'd even turn us down! I'm surprised that the words UNAI EMERY aren't on everyone's lips. He's been at Villa for only a few months yes, but look at the results he's got there. Proven winner with Sevilla in EUL, elite management experience with PSG which he's clearly learned from. Feel he's the perfect mix of potential for greatness yet could be on board with some of the nonsense Boelhy insists on.
  5. I can't believe people are seriously uttering the words De Zerbi here... yes, he's clearly a half-decent manager but he's getting a tune out of Brighton a team which Potter also managed to get playing! He's made very few changes and a lot of it really boils down to world class recruitment at their level. Come on guys... he managed Shaktar Donetsk before BHA, it'd be laughable appointment !!
  6. But what's the fix here, get us into the Europa League and then start a fresh again with someone else? We'll be back to square one except Enzo only has seven years left with us!
  7. Come on fellas, we can't lower ourselves to Boehly copycat tactics - there are other managers that HAVEN'T managed BHA
  8. Come on Max, we're supposed to be a progressive club... we can't keep looking in our cupboard for the skeleton most likely to come back to life! Lampard back for more, Jose back for a third time?! This is a project that needs someone to come in and give a fresh perspective. Next you'll be telling us how Graham Potter is a good option...
