The other is Mudryk. His name cropped up a few times last summer, but more in forlorn hope than expectation based on a couple of Chelsea linked overseas scouts attending Shakhtar games). I've said it a few times (esp in the old forum)... get back some of our injured players, add the new signings and we suddenly have a very strong squad again (ie a starting XI that others will fear with a strong bench to draw on). Winning the Champions League is not beyond us.

@My Blood Is Blue regarding current hosting, unless (as I used to be many moons ago) you are a hosting reseller, it must be costing you (or someone) for the site. I'm happy to contribute short term - as I did some years ago on the old site when we needed, IIRC about £100/month to keep going.

I looked at CFCNet on Twitter (sadly I'm banned now... my joke [photography] post of "all those who prefer to be photographed inn natural light should be taken outside and shot" was deemed as inciting violence 🙄 ) and Facebook, but neither looked as if there'd been any activity for several years. Auba has seemingly been preferred over D Fofana of late (the exception being the FA Cup game against City), so I would imagine the three new signings we'll register are Badiashile, Joaoa Felix and Mudryk. That would require one 'overseas' player from the previous list dropping out. Given injuries (I don't want to go into the ins-and-outs of what he brings or doesn't bring to the team) I would suggest Pulisic.

I'm not sure we'll see anyone leave this window. Those that might be in the "out" column are either currently injured, recovering from injury but nowhere near close to playing yet, or needed to cover for players not currently available. On the other hand, I really wouldn't be surprised if we signed at least one more player. We seem to be on an "if they're available now, get them now" mission

Agree wholeheartedly. As I said in the old forum, I can see us doing well in the CL once we get some of the injured bodies back and the new signings integrated. I think Joao Felix and Mudryk will enjoy playing alongside each other, and could cause other teams serious problems. We're low on confidence, which is why players are snatching at shots, or over-playing things. It just needs a couple of goals to get things rolling and we'll soon start to look much better. Almost a fortnight between games... luxury! Let's hope Potter and his coaching team use that time wisely and we don't pick up any more silly injuries whilst at Cobham.
