  1. Give Everton their due, they actually have a better defensive record than both us and them ;)
  2. United are having a clearance sale. Anyone that would be useful for our requirements? (Mount? 🤣) https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ce96wzkgzpgo
  3. If City win the Cup 7th gets Conference. If Utd win the Cup and finish 6th, 7th gets Conference. If Utd win the Cup and finish 7th or below, 6th gets Conference. Villa winning the Conference doesn't have any impact. If an unlikely set of European results happen and England gets a 5th CL place (Villa win all their games, Germans lose all their games) then the other European positions move down one place. So in this scenario Conference could go as low as 8th if City win the Cup or Utd win the Cup and finish 6th/7th. If Utd win the Cup and finish 8th or below, 7th get Conference. Also in this scenario EL could be possible with a 7th place finish (if City win the Cup or if Utd win the Cup and finish 6th).
  4. John Terry reacts to José Mourinho “I’M SO PROUD!” message, reminisces Chelsea & first PL title (1080p).mp4~2.mp4
  5. They need to sort the offside law out. Giving that offside is not in the spirit of the original law and not in the spirit of the game.
  6. Ball went out of play and they didn't chalk it off.
  7. John Terry reacts to José Mourinho “I’M SO PROUD!” message, reminisces Chelsea & first PL title (1080p).mp4~2.mp4 Didn't know where else to post this :)
  8. Giving this a listen during my last hour at work. Could listen to JT for hours and hours.
  9. I still see Havertz's weaknesses when he plays for Arsenal. I don't think he is any better as in individual, just playing in a better team. I think his numbers are about the same they were with us?
  10. Other than not scoring, he has had a phenomenal last 2 games genuinely. The way he has run in behind and down the flanks, leaving City and Arsenal defenders in the dust. Including Kyle Walker. We are talking the top PL defences here.
  11. Annual reminder of my Dad giving up his East Upper front row Season Ticket at the start of 2001-2002 season, just as I started getting into football and just on the eve of the Roman Era. Back then I think you could get one if you wanted one, no hoops to jump through. Now it's harder to get on than the housing ladder 😉 Even at 30% more they would get taken up I think. Even if they make it so they match the ad hoc ticket prices. But you are right, Season Ticket holders don't make them money and the Americans want to monetise everything they can, and with our small capacity their monetisation tactics are going to be even worse trying to squeeze everything out of each seat.
  12. Remember our 3-1 win in the FA Cup. Felt like it was a watershed moment. But nope.
  13. I'm really upset by this nearly in tears. Our Club was ruined by the UK government making a pointless gesture.
  14. He is a cunt. Didn't expect that from him.
  15. I'd say it's fine he is not going out on a high. He got the CL at the start. Doesn't matter the order it happened, as long as it did.
  16. I can't believe holding in the box is still allowed in the VAR age. You'd think it's black and white.
  17. I've got to say I thought the Jackson push by Walker was a pen as well. At that speed a little nudge can send a player flying off balance. It looks like not much in it on face value in slow motion, but at speed it's definitely a foul for me. It's one of those given outside of the box fouls. In which case it would have been a red card as well (whether in or outside the box, as no attempt to play the ball).
  18. There are 2 slots. Italy have one of those slots guaranteed. For us: "Even if Villa were to beat Olympiakos in both legs of their semi-finals and then defeat Fiorentina or Club Brugge in the final, England would still need the remaining German teams (Bayern Munich, Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen) to lose all their remaining games to overtake Germany. Two more victories or two draws and a win for German teams will be enough to secure second in the table." It looks unlikely. On the bright side, that messes Spurs up haha.
