It is if you cherry pick part of a larger paragraph. Would I rather have Grealish than: Madueke, Mudryk, Sterling, Disasi, Badiashille etc etc? Yes, yes I would. Your suggesting the money will be better spent elsewhere...nothing suggests that. So I don't agree it's a nonsense argument. If buying Grealish meant they didn't buy someone from their spreadsheet then I'd be delighted.

Personally I think he's better than what we've got quite comfortably and would at least give us one player in the front 3 who can trap a bag of cement. As for cost? I couldn't care less, it's not my money and they'd just waste it on someone else anyway.

He's fast at running. I genuinely don't think he has any other attributes.

I don't want to jinx him but I'm impressed by Cucurella. He's become a pretty decent player for us and absolutely never hides. After his start he really became almost a symbol for the farce and a target for criticism. He's picked himself up and shown impressive resolve.

I'm hoping once he gets the treatment needed he'll look a different player. I feel like he should be a really tidy player but he just looks so immobile and hesitant.

Thiago has been a wonderful player for us but him and Chalobah aren't what we need going forwards. That's not to say any of the other bunch are...they're not either. We need a total clear out at CB imo.

Delighted for Jackson. Whilst I'd love another Costa or Drogba (who wouldn't) I quite like him, he can look brilliant and awful in equal measure but I think he's quite effective.

Palmer is a superstar. He really is the beacon of light for us.

I wonder when they'll start implementing that strategy.

I was very much on the Potter out train and not blaming the players. I've totally changed my view (and that's not to say Potter and Poch are good enough either), but quite simply we've loads of players who just simply aren't good enough. People are blinded by the fees and think they must be good. They aren't. There's literally 3 or 4 players who are up to standard for top 4/5, imo.

To have the elation of the Man U game and not build on that is really disappointing. If you can't be at it the game after one like that, really there's not hope.

I reckon this may be controversial but if Gallagher wasn't English he'd get nowhere near the praise. He's severely limited as a player.

As a minimum. There's 4 players out there tonight I'd like to see next season. The rest I'd hope not to see.
