  1. I've added a 'Back to top' button to the site, you may need to clear your cache first to see it, but hopefully you'll see a little arrow in the bottom right and when you click on it, it'll take back up to the top of the page... saves a lot of scrolling when on the longer pages!
  2. My guess is Havertz, he's the main striker this season and goals of any kind breed confidence.
  3. Apparently Jorginho leaving has more to do with the club feeling confident in getting a WP for Santos rather than the Enzo deal. That said, I think with Jorginho going, Enzo simply has to come in now... we may need to cough up all the money in one big payment.
  4. Looks like it's a done deal, £12m... doesn't sound enough for me, personally.
  5. Were some reports of it last night, but I really would be surprised if it happened. It's surely too late in the day to get the deal done, especially as it seems like Enzo may go down to the wire.
  6. Rui Costa's annoying isn't he. Just accept the money and take your ridiculous profit.
  7. Apparently Jorginho has been given permission to travel to Arsenal this morning to finalise his move, although an agreement hasn't yet fully been reached between the 2 clubs. Personally, if the money is right, I think it makes sense to let him go. This season is now all about preparing for next season and Jorginho isn't going to be part of that, so if we can get £15-20m for him now, then we should take it. It means more chances for game time for Gallagher & Chukwuemeka as well, which is good ahead of next season (and potentially making a call on what we do with Gallagher in the summer). When we play Jorginho, we have to adapt the way we play and that will only hinder the development of the new style and approach Potter is trying to introduce. For all those that have said you can never win the league with Jorginho in your team are potentially about to be proven wrong, in the must unexpected of ways.
  8. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64461183 Oh, that’s good of them. Makes it all better.
  9. Reports suggesting that once we get Enzo we’re going back in for Caicedo… surely not.
  10. Official chelsea Twitter and Instagram bio’s have been cleared. The previous bio was to do with the Mudryk signing… I wonder what they’re preparing for. Enzo to Chelsea…
  11. Unexpected. We’ll do well to offload him or Pulisic in this window to be fair. Be interested to see what the price is.
  12. Ah yeah, you may be right actually, that does sound familiar. I honestly can’t keep up/remember all the rules for registering players for Europe. If someone does have to miss out, that’s a tough call, but probably would be Badiashile.
  13. Do we need to register Badiashile? Isn’t he young enough not to be registered or at least be registered as part of the ‘b list’ or whatever it is?
  14. Who remembers this interview? I remember thinking at the time, that this could mean a few new players in… I never quite expected what’s happened this month though. https://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/barnard-borussia-dortmund-will-face-a-very-different-chelsea-after-january-4435780
  15. How did you find the new site in the end, out of interest?
  16. I hope you’re right Bob. I completely agree about the break, he really does need one and then as you touch on, I hope that next season he’s able to settle into a position rather than covering wherever we happen to be weakest. I think he’d be good in a 3 man midfield, however I think we’ll be 4231 next season and so I think it will have to be somewhere in that 3, most likely the central role I would say, so he can drop back in when needed. All that said, I do think he needs to take another step up and start increasing his output if he’s to continue competing for a starting role.
  17. Just saw that as well, that would be unexpected and bizarre. I can’t see the club selling him to Arsenal unless it’s a big fee.
  18. Cesare Casadei has joined Reading on loan until the end of the season. Good move for him, he’s been brilliant in the U21s, so great chance for him to step up and see if he can do it in a senior league. I do think he’ll be a genuine option for us sooner rather than later.
  19. Interested to see how Mount reacts to all these recent signings, it feels a bit like when Roman first arrived and we signed so many top players. Many thought it would be the end of Lampard at Chelsea, but he dug in and took his game to new heights, can Mount do something similar? He’s been a starter pretty much since her broke into the first team, but his space is now surely under serious threat.
  20. Another returnee! Great to see you @Proud-Blue
  21. Exactly this! For the fee we're paying he needs to hit the ground not just running, but sprinting.
  22. Sure, but can he do it on a cold wet Tuesday night in Bournemouth?
  23. Sounds like the agreement will be €130m (so above the release clause) but with it paid over installments. If true, this is a rcord british transfer fee, exclipsing what Man City paid for Grealish. I hope this lad can deal with pressure!!
