I’d like to think we are, because you would hope the surgeon, medical team and coaching staff wouldn’t let him come back before he’s definitely ready. Fingers crossed!

I think we'll see: Petrovic Gusto - Chalobah - Silva - Cucurella Gallagher - Caicedo Madueke - Palmer - Mudryk Jackson I think Silva will play today, get a rest in the week and then play his final game next weekend. I am really interested to see what impact having Gusto (or James) at right back will do for the role Cucurella has been playing. Can Cucurella move into the inverted midfield role as often, if Gusto/James are bombing forward? Will they rotate between the right back and Cucurella doing it? Looking forward to it... I hope.

This makes me nervous because I do worry he's doing exactly what you've suggested, trying to get back in time for the Euros. I understand from a personal level why he would want to do that, I just hope he is ready to play for us and if he does end up getting picked, is actually ready to cope with a summer of football. If he gets this comeback wrong, then that could be it for him at this level.

Whats the expectations for Turkey? Ive heard good things, but dont know too much about the squad and form, to be perfectly honest.

Absolutely agree, it's just an odd thing to come out and say at this stage of the season on the back of our best run of form. Or maybe it isn't and it's his way of sending a message to the board that if he doesn't get some of the things he wants, he'll be walking. The thing is, in reality, he won't walk, very few managers will, because they want they pay day!

Carling Cup good, Worthington Cup bad... don't know why it just never felt right. I have a soft spot for the Capital One Cup, as they were my clients at the time and we worked on all the content and branding for Wembley and Wembley Way on the day of the finals, which of course meant photo shoots with the teams and so I got to meet some proper Chelsea legends at Cobham that year (plus free tickets every year).

Pretty strange comments, but I do also think he struggled to get across what he means sometimes, so hopefully it isn’t as bad/extreme as it sounds. At first glance/listen it doesn’t sound great though!

I think this could give Palmer the platform to 'burst onto the scene' outside of England, given Chelsea's lack of European football, I imagine he hasn't had as much exposure as some others. I'm also really looking forward to seeing Wirtz for Germany, I think he could end up player of the tournament if the Germans do well. Who else do you think we should keep an eye out for in the tournament?

Who does everyone think will win? England has to be up there as favourites based on the attacking talent we have... France the main threat to that though, IMO.

The league cup still is and will forever be the Coca Cola Cup to me.

Keep him on the bench, ease him in very slowly and don’t let him show enough to make Gareth pick him for England!

I'm really worried about this match, purely because I'm really looking forward to it! I am really confident we can get another big and comfortable win and I haven't had this feeling for a very long time.
