domestic? none. -
yeah, agree. I'm not interested in another ordinary keeper, but a top class no1. makes a big difference to us IMO
-
I expect he will sit this one out and start Sunday
-
Yes, he does "Ok" but it's a hugely important position. He has had a few howlers, like Burnley and Sheff Utd and the Garnacho header........my wider problem is that he doesn't seem to save much at all. Not goals that you would say are definitely his fault, but ones that an elite goalie might save. The CHO goal, the Palace goal at Selhurst, the 2nd Villa goal at Villa Park......just 3 off the top of my head.
-
Looking at the two goalkeepers, they have conceded at an identical rate this season (near enough) Sanchez, a goal every 57.36 minutes Petrovic, a goal every 58.26 minutes Happy with either being a no2, but neither good enough to be no1.

GK would be my no.1 priority.

Jackson and Abraham have very similar numbers. -

Just read that this season is the first season since 17/18 where two Chelsea players have got double figures for league goals. Shows where the problem has been -
Near fully fit squad for this, against a team literally and metaphorically on the beach. 5-0
-
You don't have to be a genius to work out what team needs what, so I expect a lot of it is guesswork. Moreover, conversations between clubs, agents and players would have started months ago, so these things get out.
-
Adds some height, but get your wider point. If we have Cucu and James / Gusto at full backs, there's not much height there.
-
Who says I am NOT he? Sounds like Chillers and Chuk wont be risked. Petrovic, Gusto, Cucurella, Chalobah, Colwil, Caicedo, Gallagher, Mudryk, Sterling, Palmer, Jackson. Subs : Bettenelli, James, Disasi, Silva, Badiashile, Big Les, Casadei, Madueke, Nkunku
-
Not sure that is true, or fair. Livramento left in the summer of 2021 when his contract was over (he had been offered new deals). Tuchel joined in January 2021, by which time it was pretty clear already that he wasn't signing a new contract. Edit - Tuchel took over at a point in time when Tino had less than 6 months to run on his deal. His mind had been made up already

Petrovic, Gusto, Cucurella, Chalobah, Colwil, Caicedo, Gallagher, Mudryk, Sterling, Palmer, Jackson. Subs from : Bettenelli, James, Disasi, Silva, Badiashile, Chuk, Big Les, Madueke, Nkunku, Chilwell (one of these misses out) and so do Casadei, Gilchrist, Washington
-
Chilwell and Chuck back in training, so the absent list is down to 4!!!
-
I just the "penalty" not given on Jackson.......... hilarious is the only word.
-
LB would certainly be a lower priority for me, behind a GK and CF
-
Only if they are fit!
-
This has got Caicedo goal written all over it.
-
Brighton wont be easy, sure, but both games are certainly winnable, especially now we have some more players back
-
Well, whatever happens in the Cup Final, wherever we finish in the league is our fault.
-
Todd Boehly, Bedad Eghbali and the (new) Chelsea Board

BTW, has anyone heard any rumours about when we will hear about ST renewals?
