  1. ''For the midweek away leg I couldn’t go to Ayresome Park (work or money, I forget which) so was forced to watch the game in a cinema in Central London. Chelsea defended ineptly and lost 2-0. Watching the game on screen in that way was a strange experience – some cheering and chanting but very self-consciously and generally a very odd feeling – not part of the game at all. There was also a showing at Hammersmith Odeon where Chris Quentin (aka ‘Brian Tilsley’ from Coronation Street) who was apparently a Boro fan, had to leave hurriedly after being spotted. I went home frustrated, partly at having to watch a game at the cinema (for the 1st and last time) but mainly because I knew we were in real trouble.'' Play off Semi at their place 1998 .....Arrrrrgh the good old days....Hammershith Odean....Remember it well..... Scores to settle....!! A decent read.....https://miniboro.com/14524.html
  2. Postponed because we might need him for the relegation run in........
  3. Although he's a right tit Areloa had a half decent game......
  4. Chelseas Sam Kerrs goal wasn't to shabby either...!!
  5. The final word....If nothing else the team can at least say they are playing with Gusto now......
  6. I must be the only one who felt a lot more comfortable with Sanchez between the sticks .... Gallagher very good after a slow start also very much a positive. Reckon we will rip the Hammers a new one next week....
  7. Just get me a decent keeper please.....:(
  8. Used to love the way Hoddle always described David Luiz spraying the ball high up field as ''The quarter back pass'' in every commentrary .... Hope Colwill is the same....!!
  9. With you all the way Bison.......
  10. Jose a busted flush.... Me thinks not...Going great guns with Roma in Seria A (Above both AC and Inter Milan the Champions league Italian semi finalists still there) won a European cup for the first ever time for Roma last season...Took Spurs to a final and was then sacked on the eve,led a poor Man Utd to finish second in the league and won the Europa cup for them....I still think he has a lot to offer and really cant understand whats not to like if he ''came home''....!! Plus, He never rated Lakaku...!!
  11. Ernie Walley could do a better job coaching this mob....:(
  12. For the love of God....Get me a half decent keeper.....(and a finisher ) ...Please...
  13. Thought the same for the second also ...Down a bit slow and the usual weak wrists.... Will win nothing going forward with this keeper....
  14. If we get hammered next round i will be immediately cancelling my BT sport subscription .....Every cloud and all that .....
  15. And here's me thinking good teams stem from the back......''“A great goalkeeper is worth 15 points over the course of a season,” Sir Alex Ferguson once famously said .... Kepa is not that man, never has been and never will be. Aside from the poor saves ,I'm not sure there is much in the way of him organizing the defense either .....And i'm sure that plays a large part in any successful side with great keepers....
  16. Holy has summed it up in a nutshell as far as i'm concerned....
