  1. There not clearances. Badiashile is always trying to advance play and attempt aline breaking passes a lot. It's what impressed me a lot about him last season. You'll rarely see him hoof the ball under pressure. Perfect example from the Villa game:
  2. Because Mudryk didn't hit the corner flag with a shot tonight so we've gotta show him some love. 👍
  3. Caicedo has just had two monstrous games back to back without Enzo. I don't think this is a coincidence. Enzo can't run. We're now being told it's because he's been carrying an injury but he's been unable to run since the minute he got here so I'm not holding much hope for him being able to move any better next season. He's a luxury we simply cannot afford in my opinion but like a few others in the team the money has been spent so he has to play.
  4. Laughing out loud at Mudryk being an option here. Now convinced @Ham runs the club account.
  5. He said 'enough is enough', spoke about being judged with circumstances out of his control, spoke about names having to play and underperforming etc. He rambled quite a bit and due to the language it felt like he couldn't really articulate what he wanted to say. Couple of quotes:
  6. Poch basically calling out the sporting directors and owners here.
  7. Thought the defenders all had good games. Chalobah was good throughout and happy to see the Badiashile we saw last season. Palner was relatively quiet by his recent standards. Madueke quite hit and miss but tracked back well, especially when young Acheampong came on he took extra responsibility to protect him. Nico was a nuisance, deserved his goal. Mudryk tried but he's simply playing ag the wrong level, just completely out of his depth. All round good night.
  8. This is outrageous: Both tussling for the ball? CHO gets a touch and the Everton player goes through him from behind. Scandalous.
  9. 23 year old CHO has peaked but 23 year old Mudryk has barely started. Good lord, what are we doing here? The lengths you're all going to just to make excuses for this dud. 😂
  10. Good players often stand out and thrive under those conditions. Look at Palmer for instance. How come he hasn't looked like a non-League footballer under Poch? People don't seem willing to answer this question. I know exactly why nobody wants to answer - it's because they'd have to acknowledge the vast gap in ability between the two players. So you'll continue to lie to yourselves and blame other factors for his inability to control the football (something which Poch has no control over).
  11. If lower end Premier League is CHO's level then I shudder to think what Mudryk's is. Based on what we've seen so far the ceiling is the Vanarama National League and that's being generous.
  12. Not sure if you heard but he tore his achilles. Understandably, it took time to recover from such a career threatening injury but there he is today, performing at a high level against the best team in Europe.
  13. I doubt Mudryk ever puts together even one game as technically clean and impressive as CHO had today. The mind boggles. 60m on a semi-pro level player when your own academy produces this type of talent is insanity.
  14. I only push back on Mudryk here because of the the ridiculous suggestion that he's 1) any good and 2) will improve with more game time when the reality is the exact opposite. He was tragic last night, as he has been for almost his enite Chelsea career. You actually gave the game away in that earlier post. Pretty much implied he's useless and having him as some sort of decoy runner is about as good as it gets and you're right. Why you think we should give that even a single minute more instead of investing in our own academy players is the question. Is it because he cost 60m?
  15. Very strange analysis considering Mudryk continues to look worse the more he plays. We were effectively playing with 10 men last night. These minutes are being wasted on somebody who clearly will never reach the standard required.
