  1. I can't see that being accepted by the club. Where does that precedent end? Someone has had this in a holster and has pulled the trigger now mischievously. He had nothing to do with Chelsea in July 22.
  2. I heard him. Absolute tool like most of the Sky anchors. To be fair, Kaveh put him in his place.
  3. Nothing wrong with it. Says in the video that Felix to Atleti and Griezman to Barca were paid this way.
  4. It gets better....... My personal view is that if you don't want to hear people singing lyrics containing the N word, make it illegal to write songs containing the N word.
  5. This is very interesting. Rumour is this is what we are doing to satisfy Benfica.

I've said it before but Silicon Valley is probably the best and most underrated comedy series there is.
  7. This is a first. Sky Sports News getting the jump on the Twitter ITKs? Nothing from any of the usual suspects yet.
  8. I cannot bear him. The worst thing is the fact that he simply refuses to shut up for 5 seconds. Feels like he has to fill every moment with chatter. The best thing about Amazon is the ability to turn off commentary and only have stadium FX. Sly and BT value their constant drivel too highly to give us the opportunity to mute them. The arrogance.......
  9. Perhaps there was a snitch in the group?
  10. An apology has been issued on behalf of Chelsea player Mykhailo Mudryk after he appeared to use the N-word in a video posted on social media. The forward, who joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk this month in a deal worth €70 million, was reciting the lyrics to a song on TikTok in a post from last year. He has now deleted the video. "Mykhailo is deeply sorry for any offense caused by the video posted on his TikTok account last July," his representative reportedly told the Sun newspaper. "Whilst his intention was solely to recite lyrics of a song, Mykhailo regrets his decision and wholeheartedly accepts it was not appropriate. The video has since been removed." Chelsea has not responded to a request for comment Anti-racism group Kick it Out said it condemned the use of the N-word regardless of context. "The N-word is deeply offensive and the use of this term by high-profile figures in football can only serve to alienate people from the game. It is important that footballers use their significant platform in a positive way, and we're encouraged to see that Mykhailo Mudryk has acknowledged the hurt caused by his use of this offensive slur," Kick it Out said. Mudryk, a 22-year-old Ukraine international, made his Chelsea debut against Liverpool earlier this month and is part of a squad overhaul by American owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.
  11. Yes. According to Ben Jacobs, Benfica are "deliberately briefing negativity".
  12. I was brought up in Camden and so I'm with you. I have too many friends who are Arsenal and they are just insufferable. Allegedly. If we pay the release clause then the total impact on the club is £160m including taxes.
  13. Yeah but were talking about Rui Costa. Absolute tool.
  14. Funny because I think he's the only one I'd definitely keep.
  15. @martin1905Was only asking after you yesterday. Welcome back.
  16. Plus, if we did for whatever reason get a transfer ban, we're fine.
  17. Yeah the difference is that with a buyout clause, the buying club pays the player in one payment and he pays his club. 100% immediate hit on club's account.
  18. Would not have happened without you. No two ways about it 👍💙
  19. Not only that but it grates to hear/ read glowing reports about his performances from mainstream media. The latest media concern about the possible impact to arsenal's season because of his injury also. They could choose not to comment/post at all.
  20. From memory we're missing Martin from regular contributors. Anyone in contact with him?
  21. Yeah that was mentioned but we haven't tested that apparently. We apparently low-balled them after they came to the UK to agree a deal at the release clause. Were we to offer £106m, would they agree to stage payments? Who knows? The question is whether it's actually a release clause or a buy-out clause. If it's the former we can do it within FFP. If it's a buy-out clause then it can't be done. I doubt it's the latter as we surely would have known that before any negotiation.
  22. I hope it's not us because if we're prepared to spend £80m on him, why not spend £106 on Enzo and be done with it?
