The stats suggest that they’ve lagged behind Chalo in quite a few areas this season though, that’s all I’m saying. Although I agree with you that Badiashile is a better passer of the ball and you might be right, perhaps he does have the higher ceiling, but that remains to be seen. I don’t have that much confidence in him or Disasi, but that’s just my opinion, time will tell.

But why are Disasi and Badiashile better in your view? I’ll admit that they’re better in terms of aerial duels, but that’s pretty much it. The pair of them commit more fouls, make less clearances, less interceptions, have more goals conceded and more penalties given away. I agree though that we need to bring in a centre back of top quality, as you say we don’t know what Fofana is going to be like post injury.

Would you start him over Disasi and Badiashile, or we need to bring someone in that starts ahead of all three of them? We need someone top drawer to replace Silva really.

Most aren’t, they’re just hopeless and get far too many decisions wrong. This is supposed to be a top league, a lot of these officials aren’t good enough.

It’s not a statement I’d expect from any club, but it might be the only way they take notice to be fair, it’s a complete circus at the moment.

We’ve played well against the big sides on the whole this season, but we’ve been opened up like a tin of baked beans against the lesser sides, 52 goals conceded. Majority of are goal contributions are from one man, that’s the problem, take Palmer out and we’re a match for no one.

For those mentioning positive signs of progress, I do agree to a certain extent, but surely one injury to Palmer and then where are we? We’ve been carried by him all season, we’d be in huge trouble without him. We can’t be as reliant on him next season to bail us out and we need to take chances in big games, that’s gonna require some top signings.

Not sure he’ll be laughing in pre season when Hutchison is back, he’s on one if he reckons he’s guaranteed starts next season, he’s not the only one. Some are far too comfortable at the moment, churning out mediocre performances like Jackson today, knowing they’ll start the next game, this has to change from day one next season.

Completely agree, be a professional, don’t try and snatch the ball away for a penalty, don’t laugh after defeats. He’s immature, but then again so are a few of these players.

Got to admit, I’ve always maintained that I think he’s a talent, but his behaviour is questionable and he seems more interested in personal accolades than anything else, do some of these players care enough? Some don’t.

I think he’s been a good player for us, but sadly this is what you usually get from him nowadays, not good enough anymore.

We’ll carry on losing games like this until the strategy changes and we bring in top experienced players, until then just expect more days like this. Played well, but had the ability in the final third of a Sunday pub team, sadly not surprising, I’d have been more surprised if Jackson had taken one of his chances.
