Just seems like someone has a chip on their shoulder because some of the ex players called him spy, absolute bellend. Mind you, so is Matt Law but I’m not sure what he’s supposedly done in this case.

I caught some of the game, penalty incident aside, which sadly isn’t the first time, have to be very happy with that performance and result, definitely put a smile on my face and made work easier.

We’re great fun to watch for a neutral, because we provide a great source of comedy. Each to their own, but this team are not my idea of fun, sure the City and United games this season were crazy, but I found them more stressful than anything else. Week in, week out we’re unpredictable, I don’t see how being inconsistent during games is exciting, I find it infuriating personally, but that’s me. I would rather be pragmatic and be in the top four or have pundits crying about boredom like the old days and be winning titles, we had a proper, professional and resilient team.

We’ve decided to sign players who before joining us, had recurring knee injuries, hamstring injuries and knee ligament damage, some top level scouting going on here.

Embarrassing number of injuries this season, it hasn’t been great in recent years but this issue is getting worse. You cannot function as a team like this, it needs to change next season, I don’t care if we have to rip the medical department apart and start again, just do it.

I don’t think we need a clear out though, we need to focus on bolstering the squad and adding quality in obvious positions, with a better coach too we’ll make progress next season. You have to hope, I don’t know maybe someone put deluded pills in my drink.

I agree with you, I think he’s been completely underwhelming as a coach this season, but at the same time he isn’t the one misplacing a simple pass that leads to a goal, or flapping at every single cross, or completely failing to read the game like Disasi. Regardless I’ve somewhat made peace with the season, we are what we are right now and we’re not going anywhere, just enjoy any good moment that comes along, that’s it for me.

That is a fair point and I can’t defend Poch, if I’m honest I think we need to be looking at a replacement, I just think that it’s not all on him, there’s too many players here that make basic mistakes every game. Our scouting has been poor and we need better quality, you can pick out the players that will improve, some of them are never going to be good enough though, Petrovic, Disasi and Badiashile will never be top players.

I’m not his biggest fan either, but no top coach is getting much out of Petrovic, Cucurella, Disasi, Jackson etc…the midfield isn’t much better and the bench is lacklustre, he’s working with absolute mediocrity here in fairness. A lot of these players should never have been signed in the first place and it needs correcting in the summer.

I’m just trying to focus on surviving the rest of the season first, which is easier said than done.

He’s a homer for sure, the foul on Madueke not given which nearly led to a chance was typical refereeing in this league.

Predictable performance against this sort of side, any team that has a go will always have a chance as well and unsurprisingly it’s another error that cost us. Need far more energy and desire in the second half to win this, players look tired though.

That’s true, but we’ve still wasted nearly 68 million pounds on Sanchez & Disasi combined, it’s inexcusable recruitment. Add another 100 million on top of that for Caicedo and you begin to feel a bit sick.

Not his biggest fan by any means and I think the win papers over the cracks, but it’s hard not to be happy for Poch, seeing his celebration on the touchline, been a very difficult season for him. Was infuriated with him during the match, thinking why is he bringing on defenders when we’re chasing the game, but he got the win in the end, so fair play on this occasion. I do look at our games and wonder what he’s trying to do sometimes, but a great moment last night.

I love to moan but fuck it, I love this club.
