  1. Ipswich on the brink of promotion after yesterdays win, and I am very happy for them, they've been out of the Prem for so long, and I remember their great sides of the late '70's early '80's with Thijsssen, Muhren, Wark, Mariner et al. Don't mind WBA, Saints or Norwich coming back but if Leeds come back up, I hope we pay them back for that beating which was for me the beginning of the end for Tuchel.
  2. He isn't an ace coach anymore. He's past it Finished. Finito. Kaputt. His stint at Roma wasn't all that. As the old saying goes "If you leave you should never come back". It's never quite the same same second time around. The 2014.15 model IMHO was the least impressive of all our title wins by some distance, in the second half of that season we struggled to beat a poor Man U and Palace sides and limped over the line. A third spell would be a disaster, like Howard Kendall's at Everton in the late '90's.
  3. We'll win this. The only thing a David Moyes team gets from the Bridge is the team bus back home. (Hopefully I haven't jinxed us).
  4. Magnificent servant, we managed to get three and a half good years out of him, after signing him at the age of 36. However, watching him going forward at set pieces is the equivalent of a laxative, I fear he may have to catch a bus to get back into position! Thanks Thiago for all the memories, and good luck with your next adventure, whatever it is.
  5. Basketball match, neither side can defend for toffee.
  6. And their muppets sang "He left because you're shit". Well, his current team aren't much better, players like Martial, Lindelof, Anthony and Rashford are no better than most of our dregs.
  7. No thanks, he just a poor man's Frank Lampard. His limitations were badly exposed las season. TBH, I wouldn't touch any Man U plyers with a bargepole, and Garnacho, Mainoo we can't afford because of FFP.
  8. W should buy a centre forward, not another midfielder/wide player
  9. Is it me or does KITKat not taste the same as it used to? The four fingered version wrapped in tin foil was magnificent, but in the more recent wrappers it tastes inferior to what it used to. And don't get me started on the Chunky version, massively over-rated IMHO
  10. JT was great but I'm still not having that pebble headed twerp next to him. All he does is blow smoke up his fellow owners backsides.
  11. This. Dislike Leeds with a passion, Leicester already up and hopefully Ipswich will follow, it's not a good for the Prem if the same old teams keep coming back. Don't mind Southampton or WBA, but I'm not having D(H)ull . As for the Prem, I wuah Everton would go down, can't stand their small man fans, but there's no chance of that happening now
  12. Why is it Nunez is getting a pass from the media? He's just a crap Andy Carroll, if he was playing for us the press would be telling the world how crap he is. Tossers. As for Carragher, he's bloody lucky o still be in a job, any media outlet worth their salt would have booted him out after that disgraceful spitting incident.
  13. Who? They;re batter off taking Sid Snot from The Kenny Everett show.
  14. The worst performance I've seen from us since 2015/16, in that shower of a season when Mourinho ceased to be an elite coach. we managed to make Havertz look world class, and that takes some doing. Poor Gilchrist was thrown to the lions, Caicedo was run ragged by Oddiegaard (OK I mis-spelt his name), Enzo was a joke, he could't trap a bag of cement nor pass wind. Madueke was average. Gallagher was like Emmanuel Petit in disguise, and Jackson cannot finish his breakfast, never mind chances. The entire back four skived off. If it wasn't for for the keeper, it would have been worse, although he should have done better with the first goal. Poch has to shoulder some of the blame as well, they are his signings, but no top coaches will come here for the forseeable future. Tuchel won't be coming back unfortunately. As for Mourinho and Conte, the fact that no clubs are queueing up for their services tells me all I need to know. I'd love Ancelotti back, but there's more chance of me getting the job! We missed out on Emery and ne or two others and are paying the price. We're Donald Ducked!
  15. Not half! I would love it even more to see their media pudits and arrogant fans in tears after they see thir title ambitions crash and burn
  16. Sick as a dog. Poor finishing and decision making at the crucial moments cost us. We must sell some players to raise funds and bring in two or three experienced players. At last we had a go, not like Conte in 2017/18 with his defensive, cowardly tactic in playing Hazard as a false number 9 and isolating him totally. Changing the coach is not the answer, Tuchel isn't coming back, the owners surely don't want to make themselves look stupid by admitting their mistake. Simeocne ain't coming either, he has no ambition whatsoever, he just wants to stay in his comfort zone at Atletico Madrid. Mourinho? Finished. Past it. Kaputt. Yesterday's man, you can see why no one is exactly rushing to take him on. Ditto Conte, a blame shifter who blames everyone but himself for his shortcomings, and again, no one breaking their necks to take him. We'll have to play out the season and prepare to come back stronger next season, and recruitment has to improve that's for sure
  17. Because Jermaine Jenas is the co commentator, and he's as thick as shit
  18. Shame it didn't happen when Cruyff was still alive, when Xavi was still playing and when they had thugs like Puyol and Marquez in their team. I call them the "Spanish Scousers". And to cap it all off, the odious Atletico Madrid have been sent packing as well, another boot in Simeone's Christmas crackers.
  19. Cole Palmer = CLASS. And Madueke and Jackson should pipe down, that was pathetic, reminded me years ago when Lampard and Drogba had a row against Wigan about taking a penalty. Lamps took it and scored, and Drogba scored a hat trick (one a penalty) after a half time bollocking by Carlo Ancelotti. Frogaba got his golden boot so everyone went home happy. Everton were toilet, I thought a side managed by Sean Dyche would at least go down fighting rather than surrender meekly. Roll on Saturday and the FA Cup semi final!
  20. Arsenal bottle it again, and the Scouse also got beat as well. As Blakey from On The Buses used to say "That's made my day that has"!
  21. This game will be like a trip to the dentist, as painful as having teeth pulled out. Everton will park an aircraft carrier in front of their goal, will try to bully and intimidate us physically, and hope to nick a goal from a set play, and by playing 1980's style alehouse football. Just the sort of team we struggle against i other words. I would love it, really love it if we hammer them just to see Sean Dyches' ugly mug miserable as sin, but the best we could hope for is a narrow win in a bore fest.
  22. AAAGGGHHH! That name sends shivers down my spine nearly 40 years on. Nightmare performance against Watford in that 5-1 debacle in 1986. He was never seen again after that. As for the dippers, wouldn't you just love it if they ended up with just the Carabao Cup?
  23. Can't say I'm shedding many tears at this news, thsee hacks are not exactly short of a bob or two
  24. What about Cilla Black, Stan Boardman and John Bishop?
  25. An absolute twonk, what he's doing on Talksport is beyond me, which imbecile decided to hire him? Or that other nobody "The Bosh" aka Tom Rennie, They only pander to the thick, dumbed down red top tabloid reading muppets and contribute nothing worthwhile to the station.
