  1. Good old Willian! How we could do with him back!
  2. Crap performance, but will Boro fancy it at the Bridge whatever the weather? Everyone used teams don't fancy a cold night in Stoke, but teams like Stoke regularly got stuffed in London or the South East whatever the weather. We cannot miss the chances Palmer did, but I for one fancy us to do them at the Bridge, the only thing Boro get from there is the team bus back home. We're still alive. Keep the faith and shut that anti-Chelsea prat Andy Hichcliffe up. KTBFFH!!!!
  3. Arguably the best defender ever. RIP Franz . Beckenbauer. Also one of the few men to play in and manage a World Cup winning team.
  4. German legend Franz Beckenbauer has passed away. RIP The Kaiser. One of the finest defenders to have ever played the game.
  5. Ally Pally was probably full of Gooners, and the Empty Crates (Emirates) stadium is about 2 miles from there. It was a nice park years ago when I was a kid, but ever since the 1980 fire it has gone downhill completely.
  6. Wayne Rooney given the bullet by Birmingham City, no surprise there. He managed to make Franco Zola (though I love him to bits) and Harry Redknapp look good.
  7. Show that to Piers Morgan, Perry Groves or Laura Woods LOL
  8. Imagine if one of our players did that and we got a penalty, the filth (media) would be screaming their heads off, demanding the ref gets banned and they'll start their "Stop Diving" campaigns. Corrupt, biased.... fill in your own expletives.
  9. Another s****y day at the office. Broja and Jackson are making Tony Cascarino look world class, and what a crap striker he was too. Not a Poch fan but if we get rid of him who is out there to improve us? Simeone? No way, he has no ambition andi is happy to sit on his cushy job at Atletico Madrid. Mourinho? No longer The Special One, more like "The Clapped Out One", he finished as an elite coach, kapputt. Bielsa? Our defence is useless as it is, we don' want it to get any worse. We've spent all that money but not brought a striker, although Nkunku is off the mar and should be given a chance against Palace. Another season of frustration awats.....
  10. Rather belated, but A Question of Sport has finally been axed, and not before time. It should have been axed 5-10 years ago, it's basically trying to turn itself into the unfunny League Of Their Own. Paddy McGuiness is a joke of a presenter and Ugo Monye and Sam Quek are crap captains, they've got no personality whatsoever. QOS had died a slow, painful death just like Soccer AM on Sky.
  11. The 2004-2006 back to back title winners, solid at the back and full of goals in attack. The 2010 side was great as well, we pissed on so many opponents with massive scorelines, that team was the most attractive of all our title winning sides, but as solid at the back the aforementioned teams. 2015 side just scraped past mediocre teams like Palace and Man U (yes their team was rubbish). 2017 was better than 2015, until Conte started acting like a drama queen.
  12. Phew! Mudryk well and truly saved our skin , and what a save by Petrovic to win us the penalty shootout. And Newcastle got what they deserved for their Allardyce-esque football, scoring then trying to park an aircraft carrier in front of their goal, not to mention their legendary time wasting. And Don Goodman is a knob as well, he makes Andy Hinchcliffe soun intellegent by comparison. Hope the pie and mash brigade upset the Red Mickeys as well, that will give us a better chance of winning it, and for all the knockers, if this competition was good enough for Mourinho, it's good enough for me. COME ON YOU BLUES!
  13. Feel sorry for Cooper, this is yet again another example of a deluded owner getting ideas above his station. Nuno is massively overrated, and his teams are murder to watch, he's like Mourinho without the personality, and plays the same negative and cowardly tactics as his fellow countryman, that dinosaurs style of play became extinct 5-10 years ago. As I've said many times on the old site, our 2014=15 was by far the least impressive of all our title wins.
  14. What a crap game that was. It was a disgrace to the PL and to football. A total waste of time and money.
  15. Still don't think an Italian team will be winning the UCL anytime soon
  16. It's pathetic to be honest, and some of these people rave about inferior ex players
  17. Man U and the arrogant Geordies out. Magic! Shame the Gooners haven't followed suit but their time will come/ Glad to see the flat track bullies of Europe Sevilla also sent packing, they may be great in the Europa League, (now they don;t even have that o enjoy), but are just crap in the UCL, why everyone raves about them is beyond me.
  18. Brilliant! The arrogant mob from N5 getting beat as well!
  19. Man Utd HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That will shut up their phstcophants and apologists in the media. And, Joey Barton, STFU! No one cares for you puerile, invalid opinions. You were a crap manager as well as a crap player, and you're also not as hard as you think you are either, proper hard men (Ron Harris, Billy Bremner, Tommy Smith, Graeme Souness, Peter Storey, Billy Bonds and many more) would have sorted you out good and proper. Ignoeant t**t!
  20. In the good old days, I always looked forward to this fixture, now I hate it, the annoying thing is this Man U side is p*** poor, but they keep on beating us with their last two average managers, and we also haven't won at Old Trashford since 2013, 10 years ago!
  21. Plenty of crap adverts on TV and radio at the moment, so many I don't know where to start
  22. RIP Terry Venables. Older fans say that his best playing days were with us, until being unceremoniously ditched bu Tommy Docherty. A great character and he had a charismatic personality as well, I wonder how he would have fared as our manager when in his pomp? RIP Terry.
  23. Crap narrative. Stoke regularly get stuffed in London, whatever the weather
  24. Lucky to still be alive after this, good job I don't have a heart condition, I went through every emotion possible during this game, and I am immensely proud of the players for their efforts, their heads never dropped after a setback. Cole Palmer, what a player, absolutely different class., though all the players were excellent today. The ref was a joke, if he's the best the PL has to offer, what does that say about the standards of refereeing? How was that dirty cheat Walker not booked? And finally, I hope this also shuts up that stupid old fart Harry Redknapp, who belittles us again in his puerile column with his usual nonsensical piffle, his teams wouldn't have got anything from this game.
  25. The most unconvincing 4-1 win ever, but as they say, never mind the quality, feel the points! Jackson doesn't half drive me up the wall, he's Andy Cole Mark 2, for needing 12 chances to score. I've also never liked the high line either, one good pass and you're exposed.
