Tough November & December as always. Let's hope we don't experience the winter blues yet again. With no European competition, tiredness won't be an excuse.

First game Scum at home on Sunday. Opportunity for season defining performance. Could be good or bad...or something in between. At the end of the day I will be satisfied with a performance. I want to like the players again

A good chance to build up a good few points in the first 6 games I've seen.

Mostly very winnable.

On the bright side the last Big 6 + Newcastle game we face is United Away in early April. 7 games remaining after that of mostly likely to be bottom half sides. But there could be potential Cup reschedulings in this assesment.

Other than that opening game, our first 8 games is a decent opening. Enough to build some kind of momentum before we play Arsenal at home in early October. And even that opening game is ok since it's at home.

Luton Away under the lights in the Christmas period. Perfect. 🤣

I forgot about the European factor. Hopefully our games against the European teams line up with weeks they are playing in Europe.

At home on opening day, at home on Boxing Day and at home on last day. Personally couldn’t ask for more.

One tricky 6-7 game period in late October through to early December, but most of the teams we’re playing in that period will be playing European games then - so we may get a small advantage from that.

Overall, there’s no excuses for the club in that schedule.

We're historically shite in November.  At least we won't be guaranteed another horrible run in another month.

Quite (for the first bit) but the November curse stayed with us through to May last season. Just hope the malaise of last season disappears.

Until we get to see what we're about this new season we just won't know how tough all games might be and we probably have drawn a real tough baptism in the red scum. New signings, new season , Klopp having got them fired-up - it might be a real hard watch
