Probably the best game I’ve seen from Gusto, especially the first half. Mudryk also very good first half, some stuff didn’t quite come off but that’s fine, he kept going and looked a bit more confident and competent all round, got himself a goal and was unlucky to not get a second. So I guess we should be grateful for small mercies. Tells us nothing we didn’t already know. Nkunku and Lavia are going to need time to settle in. So no miracles coming our way. Even given playing somewhat out of position but surely not that difficult for a pro to fill in ? He is staring straight across the line and is a mile off. The Palace player that nearly plays him on is behind him and he doesn’t even know he is there.
