It's against Brighton who have bigger fish to fry so I expect Poch will want us to have what we hold because he's a coward  and the fact we're not going to make a goal scoring chance worthy of a league two side , there's the outside chance we take this to penalties before losing .

Well with the way this season is going we have to take this competition seriously. This and the FA Cup will be the only realistic paths into Europe the way things are going.

Problem is, we aren't even a cup team anymore.....................but it can turn around IF we manage to score.

Considering the Fulham game isn't until next Monday, I hope we treat this game as if it is a Premier League game and field an according XI. Not the Frankenstein mess that played in the previous round.

Considering that the suspensions only apply to the PL, and that Badiashile and Madueke are fit for the bench. I'd make a few key changes:

Petrovic

Gusto Disasi Colwill Chilwell

Caicedo Ugochukwa

Sterling Palmer Mudryk

Jackson:

Subs: Sanchez, Silva, Badiashile, Cucurella, Maatsen, Gallagher, Fernandez, Madueke, Broja

Taking a bit of risk by only having one GK on the bench.

We've won an average of 0.8 points per game over the last 35 games. Various managers, different players, same old shite. We seem to be creating a new club ethos. Probably best if we shelve stadium plans for now in case  RAAC was the material of choice....

We dominate possession, defend well throughout the game, our attackers fashion about 5 one on ones with the keeper and 3 crosses resulting in unmarked headers.

Not in the UK, but internationally yes (unlike the last round where we were watching through a young woman's Instagram stream).

It's a doddle.

It's baffling we are in 2023 and there are still games not shown here, even though international audiences can watch it all.

All this while the League Cup is on its "deathbed". Maybe it wouldn't be if the games were shown.
