Madueke and Ugochukwu are added to the injury list. Nkunku is not quite ready but very close.

There will be no mention of an injury crisis before, during or after the game unlike other sides with less players out.

Our bench tomorrow will have kids and keepers.

8 players out, and nobody will mention it.

Sanchez, James, Disasi, Badiashile, Colwill, Caicedo, Enzo, Palmer, Sterling, Mudryk, Jackson

Bench......Petrovic, Silva, Cucurella, Maatsen, Broja.......... Anyone else?

I think it's 9 players out.

Poch said that Madueke was injured following the Brighton match....HE DIDNT EVEN PLAY

Also, WTF has happened to Chukwuemeka?!

I actually saw Madueke doing some jogging exercises on the pitch with some coaches straight after the game. Seemed to be moving okay, unless there was something up then.

What injury crisis?

we only play one match per week.

Players seem to be picking up injuries in training and not only on the field of play.

Of which Chilwell has made a difference in the past and Nkunku might in the future.

Chalobah is a great CB5, he's a miss.

We just played a side with 4 teenage starters in it - anyone mention that apart from me?

If we win this, ahead of a (what should be) a reasonable run of fixtures, then we could begin to turn our season around and go into the new year in a positive position and in the fight for a European (Europa) place. However, if, as often seems to be the case, that we follow up a win with a disaster-class, then the good vibes will quickly evaporate again.

James comes back in, but does Poch stick with Colwill at LB or does he put Cucurella back in? Then who are the 2 at CB? Does Silva need a rest? He will do soon, surely. Who replaces Gallagher? Big Les in and Enzo pushed further forward? Some decisions to be made.

I think we’ll see:

Sanchez

James - Silva - Badiashile - Colwill

Ugochukwu - Caicedo - Enzo

Palmer - Jackson - Sterling

Ugochukwu is injured.

Injury crisis my left foot. 2 (maybe three) starters out injured.

One of them Chilwell made no difference when he played and has arguably been bettered by Cucurella this season.

Nkunku out is not an injury crisis. Give me a break!!!

I have said this before, but I love how calm Poch is in pressers. He just seems completely unphased with everything.

That confidence is impressive.

We've had this conversation many times before Max.  It's not just about the lack of starters, it's continually having no options off the bench to change things up and give the starters a break.

Injuries breed injuries.

Of the injured, Fofana, Chilwell and  Nkunku would be starters for me.  The former was the best young CB in the country when we bought him. Had he not been injured, Silva would have been benched.

Still you mean we could have brought on Silva as sub in the unlikely event we needed another CB instead of Colvill.
We could have had Cucurella as sub if Colvill was already been used.

And less sarcastically we could have had Jackson as sub for Nkunku.

It is only one player that makes a difference here, not a very damaging injury list.
We just played a team with 4 teenaged starters, only one of whom was there on merit.
Big squad big injury list - always the way.
