The other name who crops sits in 9th place and had another woeful performance today being beaten 3-0 by the mighty Fulham. 😭😭😭 If we're going to change then at least try someone who is fresh and might bring something different, not tired managers on the down slope or over hyped ones who've done nothing in the league. Amorin might be the one. 4 minutes ago, boratsbrother said: So our best options are managers we have already fired 4 times between the three of them. I'm not on about the actual result of last season's game against them. More like how we consistently fell apart once the opposition for on top. I knew 😉 Have a look at out record as regards comebacks this season - It’s disappointing to say the least. 1-0 up today and Brentford could barely lay a glove on us. We go in for half-time and come out way second best again - and it keeps happening. One person to blame. I’m waiting for anyone to tell me what is this coach’s playing style? He changed things again today, no wonder the players look lost. Trying to be a clever coach, when he’s far, far less than a competent one.
My Blood Is Blue
Been out all day with the family, so didn’t bother to keep an eye on the score as I knew exactly what would happen. Our results and performances are so predictable. Poch needs to go, it’s very clear. He won’t until the summer, which means we’re suffering through this until the end of the season. I’m so over it now, I just hate it all so much. Our club has been utterly torn apart and has yet to be put back together. 1 2

They need a rigid framework in which to learn how to become professional footballers how to play together, how to defend as a team and attack as a team. How to forge something together. Sometimes the old way is better.

One he needed to tick off his list of attended grounds. Like he said to me, there’s not a lot of joy about. We had a great time though. 1

Backbiter
What we need is some way of measuring the effectiveness of Poch's HT talks and tactical tweaks: https://twitter.com/Je_Frota/status/1764003659715666145/photo/2 1 1
paulw66
I tell you what makes no sense. Switching to a back 3 against the league's most out of form team. I would have understood it at Anfield or The Etihad, but to play away at Brentford with only really two attackers, and three rarely scoring midfielders, and then 5 defenders was very unnecessary 2

It’s not even about titles and trophies, although don’t get me wrong, I desperately want these back as well, but it’s the feeling, at the moment this just feels nothing like the Chelsea I know. 1

We went to the same schools, socialised, played football and did a whole load of other mischief together but both of us are a bit blaze about keeping up with each others daily goings-on. Football gets us together and is the glue that bonds and as he says because we don’t live in each other’s pocket we’ve always got loads to talk about. He, unlike me had high hopes for the coach. Reckons now that he could do a better job 🤣

chara
A little bit of time to think about things in a slightly calmer way... Off to a photo thing at Church so in shower was thinking about the reports of the somewhat simplistic pre game "coaching". As you go down the football ladder you eventually get to a reasonable grass roots level that finds teams competing against each other over a lot of seasons...no matter how well you know the opposition every season new faces and playing "styles" are faced...so the players have to adapt themselves to what ever "system" the opposition is attempting every game...at a certain level there is not the manpower or luxury of watching opposition sides...watching Chelsea at an elite level appearing to be doing the same thing is beginning to do my head in...make any sense?
