It’s also like fair enough if Man City defenders are fist bumping to keep their 28 game winning record. When we concede goal after goal IMO we need to focus on doing our jobs and win over the fans with time - not playing up to the cameras with performative nonsense

All roads lead to Poch

All roads lead to Poch My problems with Disasi were not with his right-back performance. He's really poor on the ball - couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery, and despite making some good blocks I think he's too heavy and cumbersome for a modern day centre half. My issue is like Badiashile he started off fine and the longer he's been under Pochettino's coaching regime the worse he's got.
Popular Post Sciatika
I'd really, really like us to win tonight and not just for @CarefreeMuratcan's Dad. One of the things I hate is how downbeat this place gets, though, to be fair, with some justification. There is nothing like the feeling of a good win. I am going to predict a 2-0 win for us. 2 1

Indeed , I'm desperate for a decent win and a good performance , we have some really good players and should be more than a match for Everton , I suppose it comes down the the organisation and application really .
My Blood Is Blue
I've voted for Everton to win, but I think it may be a dull and painful draw. No Enzo, so I would change to a 433 and play Gallagher and Chukwuemeka on either side of Caicedo. Petrovic Gusto - Silva - Chalobah - Cucurella Gallagher - Caicedo - Chukwuemeka Palmer - Jackson - Mudryk
Proud-Blue
I'm very worried about this game for several reasons - Everton specialise in long balls. We are tiny and struggle to defend against that. - Everton specialise in set pieces. We are diabolical at defending those. - They have a higher duel success rate than we do. All those 50/50s, I just cannot see us winning the majority. - We have a very bad record against Everton in recent years. I didn't realise how bad until I looked at it. - Despite where they are, they have the fourth fewest goals conceded in the league! Only City, Liverpool, and Arsenal have fewer. They're extremely difficult to break down and play a low block. We have seen time and time again what happens when we face these kinds of teams. - They're fighting for their lives while we are sitting in mid table with a cup final coming next week. They will be fully committed, and I'm not convinced our players will be. So with this in mind, I logically see us losing this game 1-2. The only saving grace is we are definitely better at scoring goals than we used to be, otherwise I'd have gone 0-2. The good news is my predictions are normally completely wrong. In fact, there's a sort of running joke in Chelsea Pride that if I predict a result, the exact opposite score tends to happen. So let's see! 2
boratsbrother
Think this game will be as grim as a wet weekend in Rotherham.
bertles86
I fancy we'll see Washington tonight, he's been banging goals in PL2. Might offer some fresh movement up front. And maybe it's time for Casadei with Enzo out?

Sciatika
Palmer #10, Madueke right and Mudryk left, but expect it to be very fluid. Or maybe Jackson left and Palmer a false 9.(Mudryk #10) Edited April 15 by Sciatika
Sciatika
No DCL for Everton Everton XI: Pickford; Coleman, Tarkowski, Brathwaite, Mykolenko; Young, Garner, Onana, McNeil; Doucoure; Beto. Subs: Virginia, Patterson, Keane, Danjuma, Harrison, Gomes, Godfrey, Chermiti, Warrington. I wonder who Virginia Patterson is. Mark Kelly
So tonight's studio team is the poison dwarf Jones, an ex Everton player and an ex Everton supporter. Should be a great and sympathetic hearing we get tonight.
