So no Chalobah, Cucu, Fofana, James, Lavia, Nkunku, Sanchez or Big Les.

So I guess that leaves:

Petrovic in nets.

Defence from Gusto, Chilwell, Colwill, Silva, Big Ben, Disasi

Midfield from - Enzo, Caciedo, Gallagher, Carney

Forwards - Sterling, Palmer, Mudryk, Broja, Madueke

Think I would go: Petrovic, Gusto, Chilwell, Disasi, Silva, Caicedo, Enzo, Palmer, Sterling, Madueke, Broja.........

Subs Colwill, Big Ben, Gilchrist, Carney, Gallagher, Mudryk and two more plus the GK.

This could be a very tricky match as defensively they keep their shape and are good on the counter.

Yet they are also mid table.

Do we play old man Silva', he may be slowing yet is also good with his head at corners and it might take a set piece to get back into the match.'

Sterling has recently also shown he can score with a free kick.

I think we will win though probability 55%.

What the hell.

I actually think we will not have a fully fit squad this season. There is something seriously wrong somewhere that is not being addressed by the club.

Yes, Gusto added to that list.

Sigh.

Disasi at RB, Chilwell LB, and Colwill alongside Silva.

Wouldnt be at all surprised if Poch continues to play Colwill as LB and Bads plays in defence with Silva

Against a low block, having 4 CBs would just be mental.

It will be 10 days since he was deemed fit enough to come off the bench.

How much training has there been in that time? Genuinely asking as I don't know, but given it was meant to be a break, I can't imagine much.

Can see him starting out of necessity, I suppose. Can't see it being a sensible plan for his recovery, though.

I would have thought if you are fit enough to be involved 10 days ago, you should be fit enough to at least do 70 minutes here

I'm not sure we'd risk him considering we have Mudryk and Sterling who can play left wing

It's a league wide problem, the idea that it's just us is short sighted to say the least.

Granted, we've also not helped ourselves at times signing some players with chequered injury histories.

The Premier League as a whole needs to start taking more accountability with protecting its players.

Damn it, I want these now.

Those types of 'cravings' ought to have disappeared by now 😉

And you get put on a diet of jelly spogs (the ones that are left till last). For shame.

They were my favourites, coloured coconut covered ones second.

Onto the game tonight and Friday's  - Make or break time for the coach this week. Get through tonight and Friday and he's here for a while yet. Lose both and I think he's a goner. Lose tonight and get through Friday and the pain is extended (that pain works both ways).

Score first and score that in the first-half and I think we go through eventually. If they score first, I see us struggling, lack of leaders in our team in that scenario will not help
